Craig Hoy MSP said: “It is high time the SNP Scottish Government took real action to save our struggling restaurants and pubs. Across South Scotland, we have many excellent local businesses. I know from talking to them that they need Scottish government support and are struggling.
“I am pleased to announce my party’s campaign to save Scotland’s hospitality industry, which I will push forward. We want to see 100% rates relief for pubs and restaurants across Scotland next year. This tax cut would go a long way to making sure pubs and restaurants have a fighting chance in what is currently a tough time for Scottish businesses.
