Craig Hoy MSP recently presented local star volunteer Eva Knox with a framed parliamentary motion commending her voluntary efforts.
The presentation took place at Ross High School, where Craig met with Eva, her family, and head teacher Paul Reynolds to celebrate her achievements.
Speaking after the event Craig Hoy MSP said: “I am thrilled to present Eva with a framed motion that received support from over 30 MSPs from across the Parliament.
“Eva works very hard with her volunteering with Walk With Scott Foundation, a charity set up to help support the communities of East Lothian. She is also a key volunteer in organising the hugely popular Santa run in Tranent. I hope that Eva’s story helps inspire other young people across East Lothian to take up volunteering, however big or small the role might be.
“It is important to me to recognise local achievements, particularly when it is keen young people who are going out their way to help others.”
